Sunset Ridge Exteriors

Working with Mike for the contract was super easy and enjoyable. Unfortunately everything after that made me question our decision. From lack of communication for weeks on end to them tearing off my neighbors roof instead of mine. The roof looks great. After they cleaned up and came back once more per our request to pick up nails/debris, this is what we found with our magnet that we bought for $10 because we kept finding more in the mulch beds where our 2 year old likes to play.

We hired Sunset Ridge Exteriors to replace our roof and they did an outstanding job! Their estimate was the best of the four we asked for. I knew their work from the year before when they had done a quality roof repair, so I felt very good hiring them again. Their crew was excellent. They worked on a day with 90 degree heat and 80% humidity! To say conditions were difficult is an understatement. It was brutal. The guys worked their tails off. They even worked when a downpour of rain came. I can not compliment them enough for their effort. Hopefully we will never need to have our roof repaired again, but if we do I will definitely call Sunset Ridge Exteriors.

Sunset Exteriors now M&M…Subcontracted with people who came in to fix the roof at 7 am on Saturday morning without warning. These contractors punched holes in the roof while installing and we ended up with a garage full of roof debri. They also broke a tree in half when they threw the material from the roof in our yard. In addition to this, they did not initially flash the siding that was replaced. We asked to have these issues addressed. The siding was addressed in a timely fashion but when the guy from Chicago came out to inspect the other damage he offered to fix only two spots that had boards broken in half and then told me we could pay to have them fix the rest that they broke. He also condescendingly responded to my request to cover the loss of the tree telling me I would never fix it anyway. This company then harassed us about payment and asked us to sign a form releasing them from all damage. Worst experience ever!!!! Never hire this company!!! We are telling all our friends t
