Wow! Thank you Vent Dr for giving me confidence again as a consumer. Super impressed from the very beginning. Extremely convenient that I was able to get rates and book a time all via text. Team of 3 that showed up on time was very polite and professional. They did an initial walk through and asked if I had any specific concerns that needed to be addressed. I called Vent Doctors which was a referral from another business. I used the call-back option and received a call within a few minutes. Due to a cancellation they were able to come out right away and diagnose the issue and gave a remedy. On top of the great service that I received, Jay was such a delightful guy to be doing business with! He was knowledgeable and kind and made the visit completely awesome. 10/10 recommend these folks. Just commissioned Vent Doctors of Alaska to come out and clean the vents at my Airport Heights house. Dynomite. Basically, professional from the get when two techs arrived the week before to size up and quote. Then, timely and good communicating on the day of. And get this: they did the job, and also saved me a bunch of money and worry. I had concerns about the dryer vent and suspected I needed a booster fan and extra vent trap installed. I was mistaken about the run of the venting and where it vented to. Jay, the owner of Vent Doctors of Alaska, found where it really vented to, and noted that, against code, the installer or roofer had left a vent screen at it's terminus, and it was a clog hazard. So, the run of the vent was shorter, he addressed the problem by taking the screen out, and I won't have to have a booster installed by an HVAC Contractor. Tight!
