Mr. Electric of Montgomery, AL

I had a problem with my electric outlets and called Mr. Electric. They came out the same day and replaced the outlets. Mr. Miller explained (and showed pictures of my main breaker panel) that the panel should be replaced (old and blackened in a couple of spots). All who worked on this job were very courteous and pleasant, making this relatively painless (except this sort of work is expensive—but necessary). Called this company to have exactly a ceiling fan and a light fixture installed that we had new in the box each. The company, very responsive sent 2 technicians the next day w acted very professional polite and courteous however after doing a safety evaluation and pointing out a couple issues which I’m skeptical of they looked at my job and offered to do it without warranty 900 + just to install 2 items that wouldn’t take tops 3 hours that’s quite the labor bill! The warranted work would also include a whole house surge protector for somewhere around $1400 or so. Now, I’m not an electrician although I was a member of IBEW for 15 years and did a lot of commercial electrical work prior for 15 years for a private contractor! I can no longer do that type of work but I know when I’m being taken advantage of that price was absolutely ridiculous and who ever told these 2 guys to charge that much should be ashamed and embarrassed!

We had a tree fall and rip our meter box almost completely off our house. Had to have the meter box and exterior main breaker panel replaced. Our tech showed up within an hour of our call and got everything replaced the same day. He was very professional and sympathetic to our situation. Service: Electrical power restoration
