Happy they were able to come out same day although the price for a capacitor has increased 10 fold since I last bought and installed one. Your 10 year warranty on their products is null and void unless you purchase their annual inspection at $200 per unit. I guess I came out on top with the $500/15 minute service call considering I would have spent $3600 over the years on the service contract.
There is not a better HVAC company in Arizona than Howard Air Service. Our AC unit was not working properly, and they were able to send out a technician the next day and he let us know that the AC unit was on its last leg. He did a few fixes to see if that would maybe buy us some time before replacing. It stopped working the next day and Scott Bird came out to give us the estimate for the new unit. I have a terminal illness and when I explained my situation to him, he moved heaven and earth to get our new unit installed the next day. I will never forget the kindness and compassion that the entire Howard Air staff showed regarding my situation. I would only recommend Howard Air and the maintenance annual plan is totally worth it.
On June 16 2023 Howard air texted me that it was time to schedule a service agreement preventive maintenance on my split unit A/C. We agreed to an arrival time between 07:00 and 11:00. ~9:30 they day they were supposed to be here, I got a call that due to high volume, they couldn’t come today and said they would reschedule for August. I told them that was not acceptable. For me it boils down to the fact if you drove out here and no one was home, I would be charged for the call. I have worked at Intel Corp. for 25 years and want to know how you will compensate me for my time? Services: A/C system maintenance, Installation
