Response Crew Handyman

I have to replace the under-cabinet microwave with a range hood to better vent out the kitchen air. When I requested the quote, there are only few responses, and one is not available (booked out till September), one is out of service area, the only positive feedback is Response Crew. Kelly arrived early before the scheduled time, and tried his best to do the job. However, the scope of the project given to him was not completely the way I mentioned in my quote. I stated that after installing the range hood there are back splash tiles need to be patched up, Kelly was not aware of this, and said they do not provide tile service. I wish they had made that clear. Also, because the weight and location of the 2 machines, the job usually requires 2 persons to better proceed. I hope the company will consider to equip the technicians with jacks or other appropriate tools to handle the job in the future. We had a leak in the wall and after the plumbers ripped the walls out and everything dried out I went looking for someone to put my bathrooms back together. Two back to back bathrooms needed drywall, paint with texture and vanities replaced. Response Crew was quick with the estimate, the techs showed up on time and the work was done professionally and at a very reasonable cost. I scheduled to have two very heavy lights hung. I sent them the light I wanted hung, a picture of the area I wanted them hung and how heavy they were. Two handymen showed up and had no clue what they were getting themselves into and instead of saying they wouldn’t be able to do it, they did a hack job. Not only that, but they never actually got our second light hung during the time/rate we agreed on and left us with an unfinished job. We ended up calling Parker and Sons to come do the second light and they told us the handymen screwed up the first light to the point where a drywall repair would not have been possible. I’ve asked for a partial refund because we ended up having to pay Parker and Sons to fix their work. After giving all information and the invoice from Parker and sons which says the previous work was done incorrectly… no refund, terrible management, and now I’m out $400+ Service: Installation
