Called for a quote to replace three outlets, with new GFCI receptacles as the home built in 1963 was not wired with grounding wires on an outward facing wall. I share this context as material condition of the wiring, wall outlets and panel boxes are much more challenging to work with after ~ 60 years. Called Mr. Electric on 6/4, Matthew arrived and provided a quote on 6/5 – we approved the quote the morning of 6/6 and Matthew was out that afternoon to execute / complete the project. Couple key points: Matthew was an absolute professional, no ifs, ands or watts about it! Never felt upsold, he explained all of my options and clearly walked us through the pros and cons of each option. Matthew was patient and confident. I don't understand how this company got such high marks. I called because half my home was without electric. The electrician/salesman/conman told me the outside outlet would fix the problem and gave me a quote for about 6 separate made up issues that i found later didn't exist. I was quoted almost THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS to fix these made up problems. They wanted 400 to fix the doorbell. Thank God I didn't get swindled by this crook. I called RITE WAY and within 20 minutes all power was restored including the doorbell which that thief wanted 400 to fix. I must have been given the secret rate that they give SINGLE WOMEN when they want to get a good commission from their company. I then called RITE WAY and got all my power back for less than what this conman wanted to charge me for "the doorbell" problem which was a fraudulent charge and didn't need to be fixed to begin with. I will be reporting this act of potential thievery to the BBB and also Arizona Register of Contractors for fra
