Sometimes even the most careful plans don't work out. At such times it's important to "not let the perfect become the enemy of the good." When out old AC completely broke down in the middle of a weeklong100+ degree heat wave, we arranged to have Universal replace the old "1 zone system" (which never adequately cooled our upstairs) with an improved "2 zone system" that would give us even cooling throughout the house. Victor & Douglas, the technicians, discovered that there was inadequate room in the attic to install the 2 zone system, but they made adjustments in the installation and offered expert advice how we could adjust the existing vents throughout the house to maximize the flow of cool air to the 2nd floor. That has worked out well for us -- maybe not "perfectly ideal," but definitely "workably good.." Universal Heating & Air Conditioning is the best! They always come out at the time they say. The servicemen are all extremely polite. They’re all very knowledgeable. And I feel like they’re honest and not trying to take all your money! As a single woman I appreciate that! Love this company.
