Septic pump crew was great, however the office staff are terrible. I don't know if they were trying to scam me into paying for another septic pumping. I needed a repair inside my tank below the inlet so it had to be fixed BEFORE it filled. I called every day for 3 days and kept getting "we'll call you right back with a bid" Now it's Friday the septic is half full and they still haven't even bid let alone scheduled the repair. Maybe the job just wasn't valuable enough for them. I ended up having to do it myself. I'm a disabled combat veteran injured by an IED in Iraq. They forced me to either deal with additional pain for several days caused by digging or pay an extra $800 to have my tank repumped when they could be bothered. My wife and I moved into an older home a few months ago and have run into a number of plumbing issues due to old pipes in a heavily-treed neighborhood. We have worked with a number of plumbers in town for recurring issues and Thrifty Rooter has by far been the most responsive and professional. They are prompt, courteous, reliable and fairly-priced. We have been so frustrated with our plumbing issues and the service we received from other companies in town but so happy with the work and service we've received from Thrifty. They have made customers for life out of us!

The technician that came out originally was very courteous and very descriptive on what he thought the problem was. We were told by the office that it was a four hour job and given a price range. We also asked them to advise us on another plumbing issue while at the site. Not only did they not contact us about the other issue, they did not contact us to let us know they were done with the repair we contracted them for? They just billed us nearly full quote price for work that took half the time quoted. We reached out to the office staff for clarification and resolution and were told the price fell within the bid range and that people are human and they make mistakes. We gave them an opportunity to remedy the situation with us, and we were told that they will take it into consideration in the future.
