We set up an appointment to have the anode rod changed out of our low-boy Bradford-White electric water heater. It’s an integrated nipple-type anode, so it’s not as easy as the stand-alone variety to service. Henry showed up on time and explained the various risks involved during the procedure, helping us to make an informed decision against replacement. We’re happy to have him on our side. Said they would be here between 11-1. Arrived around 1:30. Less than 2 hours of work and the bill was $500 for labor. Cleared the kitchen sink, 2 sinks in the master bath, and for the small leak around the base of the toilet (installed in 2018) - claimed the wax ring needed replacing. There was no smell - just a little bit of water. $250 to replace a wax ring and supply line (that's what was on the invoice, but did not see any new parts coming in or old parts taken out.) (My daughter was home and hadn't dealt with repair before - didn't know to ask, and the person didn't tell her until it was time to pay. Checked the security camera footage. No parts coming in, no trash/old parts coming out) Was here less than 2 hours, and $500. Maybe they are great and worth the price for more technical jobs that some other reviews describe and were so happy with the work. Maybe other reviewers aren't concerned with pricing. Really disappointed that is the way they do business.

When Jim Dunbar retired a few years ago, his employee, Brian and his wife, bought the business. We continue to get the same reliable service.
