Sears Heating and Air Conditioning

My air conditioning system from them is only about 3 years old and has broken down THREE times since May. The warranty only covered parts, which cost next to nothing but the labor is extremely expensive. First repair “fixed” a coolant leak and filled refrigerant. $600–Month later ac not working again. They cancelled on the day of and made us wait 10 days WITH NO AC IN CALIFORNIA SUMMER. Finally someone comes and “fixes” it with a $25 part $200 labor for literally 10 min of their time. Okay, fine whatever. Fast forward a month and it’s not working again! They say they’ll come next day, cancel day of two hours into time window. Reschedule for tomorrow, same thing.. cancel 2 hours into waiting during the time window. If this was an accredited business I would report to the BBB. Absolute worst service I’ve ever received in my life. Will do nothing but tell everyone I know NOT to waste their money. We did vinyl siding installation through Sears. Although the project took longer than expected (mostly ordering the materials and waiting for the actual installation), we are very satisfied with the results.
