I had my AC unit go out one day while I was at work. I called to see if they could come out and look at my unit. I was expecting to be told that it would be several days before someone could come out to look at it, and to my surprise they told me that they could be out the next day. When they came out to look at my unit they were completely honest with me when it came to letting me know what was wrong with it. Needless to say the AC unit needed to be replaced since it was so old along with the furnace. They had a new AC unit and furnace installed in less than a week from when they came out to look at it. They were very professional and very knowledgeable of the product that they were installing. I would recommend them to anyone that I know that needs AC or heating work done. Very please with the service provided by Royal Bengal Maintenance-HVAC at our condo. They arrived within the time frame and soon found a wiring mistake made by another company, and a damaged wire on the outside going to the AC. They were very knowledgeable and professional during the entire repair process. Also, i have a better understanding of our AC set up from them. The cost was reasonable. To be clear, I never paid them for any service, but I got great advice and expertise (over the phone) that allowed me to fix my air conditioner myself. I am so impressed with their honesty that I felt compelled to write a review. So, my ac wasn't getting cold. Fans worked, filters were clean, but compressor wouldn't turn on. Replaced the capacitor, still no good. Was convinced that the compressor was bad and called them about replacing it. Was expecting them to say that it would be $3000, and take 2 weeks to fix. Instead, they told me that I should install a 521 hard start kit, first ($40 on Amazon). I did, and it works perfectly. I've been burned many times by repair people, so much so, that I usually go to youtube before calling anyone. I was just very surprised that they didn't try to cash in on a desperate situation. If the compressor does go out in the future, these guys will easily be my choice!
