I contacted Windward because of their knowledge of installing EV chargers and because Sustainable Resilient Longmont had them on their list of recommended electricians for this service. We were not disappointed at all. Chris came out and provided the best explanation of the work, what needed to be done, what charger he would recommend and asked if we were applying for the City’s rebate program. His expertise in describing how they would install the charger at our older home (70+ years) was exceptional. Best of all, he could explain the process and chargers in a way that was simple for me (non scientific) to understand. The estimate provided was thorough and reasonable. When the date arrived to do the work our lead contact, Noah, was very friendly, and very considerate of our home. Although they had to cut some small access holes in our basement, they cleaned up all the debris and left our basement in pristine condition. I have a one hundred amp panel which puts some limitations on what is practical for adding an EV Charger. Chris from Windward patiently explained the options and the trade offs while showing a deep understanding of what is code and more importantly to me, why it's that way. I had several other estimates but Chris was obviously the best in terms of knowledge. If you want a sense of confidence that "those people know what they are talking about" then Windward are those people. The installation team was superb. Excellent expectation setting, small details discussion and solution options, communications and execution. The install is very clean looking, to code, and robust. Very happy with the result!
