March 2021 we had a hail storm with golf ball sized hail. We checked our 17 year old roof from ground level and did not see any damage and decided there was no need to be concerned. A few days later Shane with Roofing XL knocked on our door and offered to climb up our roof saying it is hard to see hail damage unless you are on the roof. Needles to say he found a lot of damage on our roof as well as several neighbors roofs. He helped us with an insurance claim and met the adjusters when they came. We ended up with a beautiful new roof for the cost of our deductible. Shane, Chris and the office staff were all so nice through the entire process and treated us as though we were family. It was an absolute pleasure to have the RoofingXl team accomplish my roof replacement in Lake City. The process started by consulting with their extremely knowledgeable and courteous sales technician named Shane. I was quite worried about the large work scope and the process of getting a new roof but Shane did an amazing job of explaining all the details, addressing all of my concerns and giving me a fantastic roofing education. Shane also played an integral part in helping my wife and I in choosing a shingle style and color which we were struggling to make a decision on. It is a pleasure to write this performance review for XL Roofing. After 42 years working in in the construction industry, I have learned firsthand that nuisances occur in the construction trade. Scheduling of material, customer availability, weather, to name a few. The sign of a good construction company is their ability to adapt to changing circumstances and to effectively communicate to the customer these changing requirements while never slacking on quality of work. After my roof was damaged by hail XL Roofing was contacted and they took over the process, from working with my insurance company to replacement of the roof. My XL Roofing Team (Shane - Sales Rep., Sarah and Angie – Front Office, On site Inspectors, Roofers) were excellent. The final product (Roof) was installed with professional care and expertise.
