Affordable Roofing by John Cadwell, Inc.

We contacted this company to provide a certification for our roof and a possible repair. We were told that we had to pay $350 for him to come out and that he always charged upfront for roof certifications. He assured us that he would be able to do the the repair for us and fill out the paperwork for the certification. When he sent the invoice the price increased to 360.50, we paid it because he assured us that he could help. On the day of appointment he sent an email stating that the roof was beyond repair and that he would issue a refund although he never met with us.. I tried to call him but he didnt answer. It has know been two weeks and we have yet to receive our refund and he is now blowing us off. I would never recommend this company and anyone reading this should pay close attention to the negative reviews. I wish that I had. Update: John came by this morning and handed me a refund check . I appreciate that he responded so quickly to this review. I now consider this resolved. S

I have been a customer since 2000 when affordable roofing by John Caldwell replaced the roof. 2 years ago my insurance company requested that I replaced the roof and affordable roofing by John Caldwell was the company we choose to replaced the roof.After hurricane Ian I called affordable roofing for a roof inspection because it is a 2 story home I can not see if there was any damage to my roof. Andreas one of the employee came did a complete walkthrough. The best part it was free of charge. Thank you Affordable roofing by John Caldwell Inc. Thank you Andreas. 1st of all setup an appointment with Affordable Roofing by John and hours before the appointment I get an email with a quote. I thought it might be a mistake so I called. Nope they said that they looked at the home online. This is the 3rd quote for the same project with the same repair. I thought affordable may mean less expensive they are highest price so far
