If you love disappointment and unreliability this is the company for you I would not recommend this company. They aren’t reliable. Rick did not show up, never addressed it, never gave me an estimate, and never contacted me back. Take your business elsewhere. As a paying customer, I shouldn’t have to follow up 4+ times with no call backs. My experience: I’ve used Florida Universal Roofing because of a past recommend for work they did a decade ago. First roof issue was gutter related in December 2022. Rick showed up on time and did his thing. He seemed like a nice guy. A couple days later, we received an estimate for $1,200. After a couple weeks, we decided to do it. Rick showed up, did his thing, and left without telling us he was done. The issue seemed resolved. We waited for a bill that never came. The experience we had working with Florida Universal Roofing was phenomenal! From the beginning of our roof replacement, we worked directly with the president of the company, Bill Touza and selected exactly what we wanted in terms of color and materials. Throughout the whole process, we were in constant communication with Madeline Martelli and she ensured that we were aware of everything from scheduling to even providing a "What to Expect" brochure so there was absolutely no surprises when the crew came out to install our new roof. Everything went so smoothly and we really appreciated how the crew would ensure that there was no debris and no nails left on the ground at the end of each day. They would literally sweep around our home each night before leaving just to ensure they left a clean job. Florida Universal Roofing replaced our roof in August of 2022. They did excellent work! We had no problems whatsoever. Our new roof has reduced the heat load on our air conditioners. We are very happy with our experience with this company. Service: Roof installation
