Florida Breeze Air And Heat

We have been on the bi yearly maintenance plan for 4 years. We had a major problem with our air conditioning unit that they installed. It took them over a week to get the part! They didn't even offer advice to keep cool. They wouldn't even schedule an appointment to fix it until the part came in. Took well over a week to get it fixed They could have found a distributor to get this part from in the area. It's a Carrier! Now go forward a few months. We thought our hot water heater was leaking. Called a plumber, turns out they thought it was the plumbing in the main bathroom. This was late Friday. They would have to get to it Monday. We'll it turns out the air handler in the house was leaking into the garage, where the hot water heater is, and into the house. Called Florida breeze and got well we can't get to you until after 7pm on Sunday! Needless to say, we called another reputable 5 star company and they were out in 3 hours. I called Florida Breeze who initially installed my AC one year and 4 months ago because it wasn't cooling. I was told I had to wait 3 days for a tech to come out. When I protested that they installed it and it is fairly new, the response was, "what do you want me to say, call someone else then", so I did. Wow! Very unprofessional, with no regard for their customer. Without us they have no business. They won't have mine.

We have lived in our home for 2 years where Florida Breeze handled the installation of the HVAC system. This past May, we lost all cooling in the house. We called them out to service and repair, which was initially thought as a leak in the evaporator coil and accumulator. While our units were warrantied, we were charged $1100 for labor. Well, after a 9(!!) hour day of work from their technician not completely knowing the problem and losing cooling within the very next day, additional visits from two more techs “correctly” diagnosed the problem as a leak in the underground chase line. I was told by their service manager that it would be an additional $2300 for repairs, after a 10 percent discount for the inconvenience. I am completely unsatisfied and beside myself that they are not more accountable. After almost two months of no AC in the summer, we are now with another company who are treating us with more respect, and after hearing their horror stories from other former clients of Flo
