Ken Williams Air Conditioning

So, in the middle of July in Florida, when your old ac dies for good, this company and its people feel your pain. Apparently, if your ac is older than 2020, your unit may work fine, but they no longer sell the refrigerant. So, that should be discussed over the phone before the service call of $80 or more. Otherwise, you paid for them to drive to your house to tell you this and charge you for this knowledge. I paid $125 to find this out and then the bait and switch. Well, you need a new unit. So Ken Williams dispatcher tried to get me the refrigerant and when they realized they couldn't, called prior to my appointment to say they couldn't help with that and didn't want to charge me for the service call since we already knew the issue. I told him I was going to trust him to get me a new unit for the best price possible, and 24 hours later, it's installed and cooling fast. Had a condensation pump leaking water on the floor late in the evening, but saw that Ken Williams was available 24 hours. Technician tried to repair pump to save money but had to replace pump in the end. Very competent and helpful and got our AC back on line. Works great. Service: HVAC system repair

In regards to their past service I would have given them a higher score, but unfortunately today someone dropped the ball. I'm sitting in my hot house at 5:30 pm not knowing what's wrong with my air condition unit after their mechanic looked at the unit earlier in the day. He mentioned that we needed a part and that he'll soon return. Well, needless to say, he never returned and furthermore the company didn't even follow up after promising to call us after I complained about the situation. Service: HVAC system repair
