Boutwell's Air Masters

Had a unit installed in 2019. Had issues ever since. Came out and fixed lose wire. Then changed the fuse the next time. Then had them come out and they charged for coming out but said it was a breaker. Then it leaked on my celing. We put in new breaker but still not working correctly. Gave up on boutwell and called another company. Boutwell put in to big of a heat exchange for my unit. They put in to small of a pan. They do not have the system that takes the water out of the pan installed correct. Part of the wiring was melted from them putting in the wrong heating part. Luckily my house didn't catch on fire. I definitely would not recommend this company. Service: Install AC

I started this service around Aug 2022. This was supposed to be a year long service with the second visit at six months. During the initial visit, I was told the capacitor should be replaced so I ok'd the service. Six months came and went and they never showed up. I had to call them to get them to come back out. This was a month or two late at this point. Last night my AC goes out due to the capacitor they replaced. They dont have an on-call so another company came out to repair. Apparently Boutwell only has a 30day warranty on parts. Considering all of this, I would not recommend this company nor will I use them again. There are better to chose from. I have been using this company since 2012, then we moved three years ago to another house and within those three years this company has gone down hill drastically. I have always paid for the yearly plan which gives you two visits a year, which I always do bc I believe in taking care of things preventatively rather being reactive to problems. When we had this company before 2020 they were fantastic but not any longer. Every time they come out they do not bring my air filters like they are supposed to do every time, so I pay them $165 that includes checking my system, topping off fluids like Freon and cleaning my unit outside& leaving me with 6 air filters to last me until the next appointment time. Like I said they have never once brought me my air filters with them on the appointments. I have had to call the company every time and they have to bring them three days later. I pay them the day they come out and expect to receive my filters on the day I pay them for service not have
