Was starting to call around for my mom, helping her to get quotes for a generator. I called up and the phone was answered by someone that didn't seem to understand that I was calling to talk to somebody in sales, even though I mentioned that. They put me on hold and told me they'd get 1 of 2 people for me. Then after being on hold for 3 minutes (not too bad), someone picks up and says "Florida Power Solutions?" like I was just calling in, and not being transferred. I already explained this. Does the company not explain to a transfer why someone is being transferred? And I've worked in offices with transfer phone systems. The "ring" is almost always distinct. Couldn't you be a bit more helpful and say at least... "who were you holding for?" Or at least introduce yourself, "Hi, FPS, this is Jen (or whoever) how can I help you?) But this fairly lax approach of simply repeating your business name while I'm trying to figure out why there was a dry transfer, and that the person on the other
