This is the company you want to go with. I called around last week to other companies and no one could come out until next week. It took a few hours for Barineau to get back to me initially however they were extremely apologetic and got some one out ASAP. They worked on my AC (freezing over) and determined a part might be bad and gave me an estimated time for ordering/replacement. However, I called them back a couple hours later with some additional information (Compressor still running despite the AC system set to "Off") and a technician called me within minutes. After giving them the information, they indicated that it may be something other than the fault part, and they came out within an hour, identified the issue, and got it resolved with no additional charge for the day. They also gave all the information and gave recommendations that felt right for me as the customer, not just what made them the most money. It was clear that they weren't trying to charge for things unnecessarily

Barineau Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. is a family owned business that has done great work for us over the past 20 years, having replaced two systems for us. This past week they replaced our second air conditioner and furnace. Their employees are polite and professional and did a great job during days of excessive heat. They were able to supply us with portable cooling units while we waited for all the components of the system to arrive. We are grateful to have a company like this in Tallahassee!
