Absolutely the weirdest setup for electric service I’ve ever experienced. Had to use the drive through and give my social and DL info to a teller. This should be online. It’s 2023.

I’m a little late on leaving this review but around January I received a bill showing I was past due at 90$ for the water. Okay i was fine with paying that, I lost my job in December and finally got one in January (about the same time they shut my water off with as little as a days notice) I called to see if they could just turn it back on until the next week and I would pay my past due bill along with anything extra for that time. During the phone call they told me I was now set to owe $390 because of a tampering fee. I told them there’s no way I could have been “tampering” with anything. No one comes to my house, I was at work and don’t get home until after 7-8pm they refused to listen. I have 2 small children. I was forced to stay with a family member for an entire month and a half until I got my taxes to pay a bill I never should have paid for. They quote on quote told me “this happens a lot” “we don’t lock our boxes” “you can use any wrench to turn it back on” you would think bein

This company has recently put a lot of energy into coverage expansion. Expansion in the energy industry often means weaker infrastructure, leading to cases like Talquin. Power can go out any time, just like in 3rd world countries. I feel very cultured under the Talquin monopoly.
