In June of 2021, I hired Latite Roofing to repair a portion of my metal roof that had a leak from a chimney stack. During a remodel, the previous owners removed the fireplace and left the chimney stack but the flashing wasn't done correctly which resulted in a leak every time it rained. Skyler informed me that for the cost of materials and labor it would be a $5,200 job since I have a metal and high pitched roof, etc. and would be completed within a few days after the metal panels were delivered. The arrival of the panels could take a few weeks since they weren't a common material or style (after much research). Approximately a few weeks later I was scheduled to have the section of my roof surrounding the chimney stack done once the metal panels arrived. The technicians ended up having to cancel due to in-climate weather-- which was understandable. Scott Thompson, Manager of Tampa Latite Roofing, just left my house. Latite installed my beautiful concrete tile roof years ago and I recently experienced a small leak. Scott personally came on site to my house with 2 expert workers, they worked together for an hour until they discovered the exact cause of the leak, and then they repaired it thoroughly and promptly. Oh, and did I mention that I was slightly out of warranty? That's right. Scott had every right to say, "sorry", but instead, he stood by his company and his work and made it right for me. I wish there were more companies like Latite and more men like Scott. The world would be a better place. Service: Roof repair
