Tank Air Conditioning & Heating

Just had them come yesterday. Gave me a quote for $1700 to clean my evap coils and clean the condensate drain line. Then charged me $250 for cutting my condensate line so it would drip into a bucket. Do you know how easy it is to cut a 3/4" pvc line with a saw? maybe a minute? All he did was cut my line and put a bucket under it $$250 for that plus the cost of the visit. Are you kidding me? I cleaned the evap coils and drain line myself in 2 hours total. Evap coils weren't even dirty. Saved myself $1700. Apparently they charge $850/hr Service: A/C system maintenance

This company was assigned by my home warranty company. My air conditioner unit had to be replaced. The warranty company was going to pay 3000 towards the new unit. This company wanted me to pay for the entire balance of the unit, upfront, before they installed or worked on anything. Then when the warranty company paid them, they would give me the money. I advised I would never pay up front. They told me that the warranty company was closing the ticket and I wouldn’t get anything from them. I called the warranty company and they advised me this was not the case. I had to have the warranty company reassign to another company because Tank is shady, requiring money in full for something they haven’t done yet. No one does that. After seeing the response , I know it is inaccurate as they advised and pressured me stating the warranty company will close the ticket and you will get nothing if you don’t use them. I called the warranty company and had it re-assigned in no time. The company advise
