PV Heating & Air

We have a service plan with PV and they've been great in the past with bi-yearly checkups. Today, however, we had to have someone come out for a service issue. We were told it would be $85 for someone to come out. Despite our plan indicating it was free for service calls. The technician came out, immediately identified the problem and replaced the part with one from his van. Then said it would be over $400 in addition. He showed my husband exactly what the part was, looked it up online, and it was less than $30. The tech confirmed, but said the price was firm. My husband called the office, was escalated to a manager, and was told several times that the prices were correct, it was $400 for labor. When we told them to cancel our service plan since we weren't saving money, they agreed to take off the $85 charge for the tech coming out, which never should have been charged to begin with. The technician Mike Sharpe arrived within the window scheduled. He was friendly and explained the diagnostic results from the maintenance performed. He explained a concern and the options for one of the three units. We agreed on a adequate resolution. Mike was knowledgeable and a funny light-hearted individual. Mike was a true professional.
