H&G Plumbing and Septic

I recently had a plumbing issue arise at a rental property that I manage in the area. Went online and looked up local plumbers and found H&G Plumbing along with a number of other companies. After reading the reviews (which mostly looked good) I decided to give them a try. BIG MISTAKE!!! I should have paid more attention to the reviews with less stars because they ended up being the very issues I experienced with this company. I was quoted a price for the job based on the issue being serious. It ended up that the work wasn't as bad as the tech thought. When I asked him if he would be adjusting the invoice then to reflect the work actually done, I was called names (unbiblical to be exact), accused of stealing from my employer, accused of avoiding paying the bill, and told they would not be adjusting the bill just to make me happy etc. OOOOOOOOOKKK then. At that point I told the tech that I felt more comfortable paying the bill in the office rather than meeting him at some random

I called in the late morning, 3 days before Christmas to replace a leaking water heater (Called 2 other companies first because I just went by a local Google search - they couldn't help). Professional and kind initial call. Quickly dispatched the call and bam, they were there to give a quote. I received a quote from a contractor a month before to replace the water heater before it was leaking. This quote was competitive. Within minutes of my online approval of the quote, they were off to work. I thought it would be at least a day before work would start. Nope - within hours, life was back to normal. Great communication with zero need for physical interaction (as a toddler and dog mom, that was awesome). It was beyond easy. Payment plans are offered too if that makes your life easier.

I had to give a star on this page, but they don't deserve it They deserve 0 STARS!!! I simply cannot even give them 1 star. This business was trying to give me the business. I am in need of a water heater replacement and expansion tank. I called this company and they sent out a young plumber (Zachary) to the house call. When he arrived he assessed the problem and then went to the truck to create an estimate. He came back with $1450. I asked him what he saw that was the problem and he asked, "Are you going to get the repair?" I told him that it was a little high an what was the problem? He stated that he couldn't tell me unless I would agree to the repair. He stated that it was his profession (plumbing) and that he couldn't just tell me what was wrong. Then he went to say that he would tell me if I paid for a diagnostic! This is OUTRAGEOUS! Who gives an estimate without telling the customer what is included in the repair?
