We had a unique situation arise when Joe Schmo replaced our electrical panel recently. After the technician completed the work, the proper protocols were followed to have the city inspect the job and let the power company know to restore power. Well, somehow the power company managed to “misplace” the city inspectors approval and refused to turn our power back on. It was now after business hours, with temps in the 20’s (no heat), and two babies at home. Rachelle at the Joe Schmo office spent over an hour on the phone with the power company (well after hours!!) until she got a supervisor to finally authorize restoring our power. I was completely blown away by the way Joe Schmo stood by this job (past completion) even though they were in no way at fault for this incident. Not to mention the panel replacement was affordable, done well (+everything is labeled perfectly, yes!!), and the technicians were extremely professional and courteous.
