Cates Heating & Cooling

I spoke with Cates and found out the sales person I was speaking with - Pat - was a mutual friend on facebook. We did speak over the weekend and he was busy with family. I saved him a trip out and sent all specs so he didn't have to drive and never came out. He is a nice guy and honest - I believe if you get him he will tell you the truth. He was not able to beat competitors and said so and I went elsewhere. I wish he had made more effort to accomodate prices but I believe Pat to be totally ethical and will tell you up front what Cates can and cannot do.

Don’t use this company, I hired them to check the heater because it wasn’t working properly. They charged me $2,300 usd and the heater never work. I called several times and the employees answered very rude, the technician never repair anything, he didn’t even change the belt for the heater to be working properly. I don’t think he new what he was doing, he even told me that I needed to buy the whole unit new. I call the owner of the building and they repaired all the mess the technician from cates made in less than an our. Technician from cates charge men for a part that was like $200 he charged me $1,200. They are very unprofessional and untrustworthy. They don’t even do the job right. Service: Heating system repair

We have used Cates for preventative heat/cool maintenance for several years, but finally needed heat/cool replacement with surprise water heater replacement.
