Mike and Gary are either dishonest or incompetent. A general home inspector saw copper and aluminum wires in the panel box and recommended an electrician look at the panel box. After Mike looked at the inspection report he recommended they come look at it. No contract was signed, and no price was stated, leading me to expect this look-see was free of charge. It was surprising to receive an invoice for 414 dollars for a "whole home safety inspection" report and an estimate for 4,712 dollars to install 62 alumicon devices. This estimate did not make sense based on the general home inspector’s report and information from the previous homeowner and realtor affirming the box was in good shape. I had a second electrician inspect the box. The second inspection was free of charge. He showed me the only wire that went to the stove was aluminum and it needed to be replaced.
