Lend A Hand Handyman

First off these losers charge $98 per hour which wasn’t explained to me. Had two guys show up to install 2 doors. Combined it took over 11 hours to install TWO doors. One hung out for hours and the other one drove around Louisville clearly milking the clock while me and my wife waited for some results. Besides charging an absurd amount per hour which I was not told up front. I was told to finish the job myself. 11 hours combined work and the job still wasn’t done. I was charged $1600 to have two doors installed. I had an entire 2500 square foot basement painted for $1500 but these losers wanted 1600 for a mediocre attempt at hanging 2 unfinished doors. Needless to say…if you value the money In your pocket and want stuff done at a reasonable time frame do NOT hire these scam artists ????????????????

My rating is based on the repairs and the the handyman himself. I was very pleased with the gentleman who came to make the repairs (Mike Stone). He did a very good job and was easy to work with. The only thing I did not like about the project was the cost. It was probably about double than what I expected. However I knew the $98/hr rate before hiring them. Unfortunately, a lot of that time was spent waiting for drywall mud to dry. I also knew about the $54 charge to come out. However did not realize that would be charged each time. As my project took 2 days, they had to come out twice and charged $54 twice. I felt the 2nd charge should have been waived. Service: Drywall repair

I used there service for deck repairs. The work was good but there communication skills are lacking a bit. If you say you are gonna be at the job site in 30 minutes. Be there in 30 minutes. Just don't leave the customer hanging without a phone call back saying you won't be there. Service: Home maintenance & repairs
