The best! We added central air to our house this past spring and used Acton Refrigeration. Because our house is older and uses hot water baseboard heat, we needed new ductwork. I had three HVAC groups out to discuss the project. Acton's proposal was in the middle price wise BUT they were the only contractor recommending a 2-stage condenser. The other's all built in a single stage condenser, so Acton's value proposition was higher. In addition, they used large, insulated rigid ductwork for the system so we have no hot spots or issues keeping the first floor cool, even on the hottest days. The project took 4 days and they were on time, on schedule, and clean the entire time. We were nervous how messy the house would get with all the ceiling cuts, but we were put at ease after the first day; there was no mess at all.
