Carroll Sons are a professional roofing and Gutter servicing company. I needed to have both gutter and roof repairs done. To me quality, professional and experienced workers is the most important aspect of having work done on the house. I had a number of items needing to be addressed and provided Chris with a list. The company sent 2 workers that worked their way down my list and did everything I needed as well as fixing things that I did not know needed attention. They fixed my existing gutters, replaced damaged gutter parts, re-flashed 3 chimneys, secured loose aluminum flashing, installed a diverter over my front door overhang as well as other small fixes that needed to be done. While I was at work one of the 2 man team called me and asked if there was anything else I needed before they left. It is great working with a company that gets the job done properly. Joe Z

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! They “renovated” our 1893 building two decades ago and it’s been two decades of code violations, headaches, and expenses. The list of what they screwed up, the damage they did, and the complaints of some of the worst work I’ve ever seen in my life (I’m a middle aged architect and work on rehabbed and historical properties) is almost endless. I had to buy a larger binder in which to keep the countless records of all the work that’s been required to fix their mistakes, and to make the house safe and code-compliant. The only way I’ve seen similar projects get the final sign off from the building inspector is by the developer/contractor being personally connected to someone at city hall or by paying someone off.
