It is a tough market and many vendors are unresponsive, so it was encouraging to find a contractor who not only returned my initial phone call but also actually showed up to inspect the job and to offer a quote. Stella Roofing was one of three companies who did of almost 2 dozen inquiries. Not only were they responsive, they were also professional through all stages of the job and very patient. I am a retired hotel executive who can be detail oriented and rather picky. Steve was extremely patient handling a series of questions I had. He pulled no punches and confidently stated he wouldn't be the cheapest bid but also wouldn't be the most expensive. I did feel they would be competent. It took a few weeks to fit me into the schedule and to order materials but the workmen arrived very early one day and had completely and silently removed the old rubber roof while I slept in a bedroom next to the area being re-roofed.
