I have an older 1938 house, and have been using Hyman Electrical for almost 20 years. Their crew are brilliant. They started with a heavy-up when I bought my house in 2005. I did not appreciate their talent until I hired a local Handyman to install a ceiling fan along with some other updates he was doing. What the handyman could not figure out after 6 hours of trouble shooting--Jeremy from Hyman Electrical assessed, corrected, and fixed in literally SIX Minutes!! I was trying to save a buck, by having a general contractor do some electrical work. It cost me so much more in time, cleanliness, and worry. But I am so happy Hyman Electrical came to my rescue. They have also been instrumental in any upgrades we have done, including: our Kitchen Remodel, electric dryer installation, adding new outlets, and speciality LED cabinet lighting ON Dimmer Switches (which is not easy). Proven honesty and competency! I had a new oven delivered today. The Home Depot technician told me that the oven did not work because a breaker NEEDED to be replaced, as he explained was based on the Error code that showed on the display (low power). I was told to call a electrician to replace the breaker. I found Hyman and chose him because of proven 51 years in business. I have never used them before so I was ONLY a potential new customer. Instead of immediately scheduling a visit, he told me they wanted to SAVE ME MONEY, if possible. With patience and care ON THE PHONE, he walked me through my breaker box and had me switch it twice, then back to my oven, and it worked! He even explained why the low power code initially appeared then disappeared...due to the smart system rebooting. I then baked my cookies! Great company and very responsive. I had an electrical issue in the house where part of my circuit quit working. The owner was very nice and walked through some of the common issues with me. They showed up on time, was very professional, found the problem and fixed all of the issues with the circuit. They communicated very well through the process. I highly recommend this company.
