We are on city sewer in Cape Elizabeth. We came downstairs to find out that our system was clogged and had backed up into our storm box, bringing a lot of sewage with it. Not fun. I called EcoClean in the morning and they were able to send a technician, Rob, that same afternoon. Rob (who was super friendly by the way) inspected our basement and instantly understood the problem and clearly explained it to me. After clearing the initial clog with a heavy-duty snake, he proceeded to show and teach me more than I ever knew about residential sewage. He used the video camera to inspect our sewage line all the way to the town main line junction. Additionally, he was able to precisely mark that location so that we know where and how deep it is should we ever need to access it in the future. The culprit of our problem was tree roots entering into our clay sewage line. Joe and Connor were incredibly nice and incredibly professional. They were communicative, understanding, informative, and respectful. I have a three-month-old son and Joe was so kind sharing stories about his own daughter and how much pride he has in his job and being able to teach other people how to be handy!
