CenterPoint Energy's Home Service Plus

My experience for using the HSP, service was amazing. Easy to schedule my service. EE #234170 (CY) was professional, patient and explained everything he was doing. It was a 90 degree day and he was not leaving until I had the ac running. My problem was major and it took sometime to diagnose but he didn’t give up and stuck with it. Wish there were more technician like him. When he left my house was back to cooling and several hours later working as it should. It was very satisfying knowing I had this plan and help was on the way. Without this it could have cost me several 100’s just to diagnose the problem. Thanks CY, triple AAA service! I am home right now taking a 3rd day off from work in the last three weeks waiting for a repair on my hot water heater. For 4 different service windows a tech has either not arrived at all (with no notice) or arrived outside of the agreed upon time frame. The one time they did show up (an hour late), they informed me a previous tech had ordered a wrong part. That was over a week ago and they have failed to arrive at all the last two service days. I have been an HSP customer for 18 years and after this repair (if it ever happens) I will be dropping this service and going with a company that provides the services they advertise. I am paying for a service that I literally am not receiving with HSP.

Excellent service professionals. I had full service and replacement service with HSP and every time they amaze me. They are amazing. Do a clean job every time. They explain entire problem and fix every time. They help find parts and come back to fix. Amazing team of professionals.
