CenterPoint Energy's Home Service Plus

(David # 237954) Came to our home on Friday Morning. I did not hear my cell when he called me. But I sure appreciated when he was standing in front of my door. especialy after having no air for 3 days. I just wish we had more Man like him in this world, because he was so nice. he was very clean after he got done with the job. He was so good in explaining what he had to do. He has the most amazing customer service I have not seen for a long time. It's so hard today to find good people like him. Thank you, Center point Energy, for having a good employee like David That makes me feel safe and appreciate his kindness. What amazing Man. Thank you, David, for the good work you did fixing my Air. Ask for David he is the best :)

I've had this service for probably 3 years. Three years ago I would have rated 5/5 - fantastic. HORRIBLE now. The last two out of three appointments they cancelled at the end of the day - took off work for nothing. Their seasonal maintenance is backed up for months, well after the season. The last two repairs they said they couldn't fix, I have to replace. I called today at 2 to ask if they are for sure coming and was told yes. Less than an hour later I get a call they cancelled. They want to come tomorrow which I can't take off again. The scheduled time is 8-4 which is the entire day. The only thing they managed to do for me is raise the prices twice this year and no show on appointment and make me replace mine. Their replacement plan doesn't come close to replacing your appliance - they need to call it a down payment plan because that is all they cover. Was told I would get a credit two months ago for the last minute cancelled appointment, followed up twice and it still hasn't gone t

Worst Experience Ever! We have paid for their total replacement plan for "YEARS" now, only to finally utilize an AC replacement. We had at least 4 visits the past year for service, always able to prolong the life by recharging. At the end of last summer, we had one particular rep, Tou, who was very friendly and helpful condemn the unit, as the leak had gotten worse. With summer finished and unit still working (albeit internal leak) we were in contact with a Centerpoint Sales Rep (Brian) who said customers normally only have 90 days from unit being condemned to complete work, however he said he was able to UPDATE deadline to another 90 days later (we have paper copy of original quote and extended quote with new 90 day deadline), which made sense to us since the AC still worked and resulted in NO Risk like a leaking Furnace. Plus, with Brian's quote being around 8-10k, we needed to start saving money for this work! Fast forward to this summer, 2023, as AC isn't applicable during winter.
