I decided to contract with Garlock-French to replace the shingles on my brand new home in Lake Elmo that sustained light hail damage within a month after I moved in. Due to their extreme negligence, inexperience, and lack of care, my home sustained water damage in all four walls and ceiling on the first and second floor while they worked all day in the rain pulling off the entire top roof. They did not follow industry standards which is to work in sections and tarp off an open area if rain comes. I had water streaming through light fixtures and down walls, to which the foreman told me I just needed to let it dry out and they would come back later to touch up the paint. Needless to say, I called a water mitigation company to come out and respond to the situation. Now I have holes in my walls, trim removed, wet clothes in my closet, wet carpet, and industrial dehumidifiers and fans running everywhere that are tripping my circuit breaker.
