Randy's Electric

We had an electrical fire inside a wall of our home. It caused minimal damage but we still wanted to have a reliable and knowledgeable electrician check the switch and wiring that shorted. Scheduling was easy - Randy's Electric's website has an online scheduling option. I got a confirmation text before our appointment and a call day of confirming the time and letting me know when to expect the techs. Joe and Brian were great. We had a lot of questions and concerns. They did a thorough review of the wiring and all switches and outlets that were on the same circuit. They noted other issues and explained them. Joe prepared a comprehensive report of what they found and what they recommended, separated by issue and urgency, and broken down to show individual costs. We were able to choose what and how much we wanted done that day and Joe and Brian got right to work. I work from home, and the shorted switch and wiring were in my office. Terrible experience. Paid 1400 for a new wall switch and a door bell run. I figured at that price I’d get high quality work. NOPE. Didn’t repair wall, left huge mess I had to clean up. Mounted ADT panel so close to trim it barely fits and needs to be remounted. Also wasn’t installed correctly and wires weren’t attached. I had to remove and rerun wires myself. Reinstalled light switch upside down so up is off and down is on. Now I have to figure that out. Off center outlet install as well. Left the converter thing for door bell exposed. Shocked myself going to turn off light. Tech said “I guess I could cover it with tape”. And look at the huge hole I have to patch now! I have a newborn and a 2 year old at home right now. I don’t have time for this. It’s why I called Randy’s in the first place. After asking questions about panel location and wall repair he said he could recommend someone else to fix. I used Randy’s before for a whole home surge installation and additional outlets. Loved

This is our second time working with Randy's Electric and they are always extremely professional and very thorough with their work. We had an emergency issue and were able to have someone out within 12 hours to address it. Ryan was on time, very communicative, ensured we were understanding everything he was doing, and worked very efficiently. He was very professional, kind, and respectful of our home while he was here. The issue was solved and he pointed out other areas that may become future issues so we could address them then and there and get it fixed before it was a problem. We're very grateful for the service Randy's Electric offers and very thankful for Ryan coming out on short notice!
