AMC Contracting

We have come a long way with AMC contracting and Carlos. We wanted to do some renovations to our home. AMC were quick to respond, the process to schedule the estimate was simple. AMC were truly competitive with their quote. We had significant additions done to our house. Once the work started, the crew was great, always respectful. Mindful of the construction area that we were living in, they always cleaned up at the end of the day. They were on budget and no surprises. They always put customers first, they are open to suggestions and understand what you really want from the project. What’s a better endorsement than hiring the same contracting team again? We were so happy with the team, that we added to their original scope and additionally got another bathroom renovated. We have already recommended AMC to our friends, won’t hesitate to recommend to others and already thinking of other renovations for our own home. Thank you AMC for always going above and beyond.

Horrible job. Not only a bad job but used unlicensed electricians. I have to have everything redone. I have other safety issues that I have to deal with. This company has been a nightmare. Edit response: It wasn't perfect until payment, but you wouldn't have known that because you never had anything to do with it after quoting the job.. Your responses to negative reviews are exactly what you get with this company. Carlos is a bully. The judge told you to knock off a third of what you said we owe. Then he told us we have grounds to sue you back for the entire job to be redone with permits and licenced electricians. I'm not on a mission but I do feel like people should know you are not safe. Overall we had a good experience with AMC Contracting and I would consider using them again for future projects. AMC handled all the demo, plumbing, electrical, painting/drywall, and appliance installation work surrounding our kitchen renovation. This was the majority of the work, and we also added on additional work in other areas of the house (interior painting, bedroom ceiling/floor repairs) that they were able to accommodate. AMC coordinated their work around the work we had already arranged (cabinet installation and floor work) without issue. We were impressed with the professionalism of the workers, and they showed up every day according to the project schedule through completion. Most communication throughout the project is handled via email. This was one of my biggest concerns going into things, but it didn't end up being an issue for us as the project was completed to our satisfaction in a timely manner, and we always had timely responses.
