Progressive Service Company

Seems that I am not lucky with AC technicians. Called because zone controls were intermittently failing. The technician not only didn't check the root cause because it was working when he got there (intermittent) but started to completely condemn the installation of a system that had been working for years, up selling me on other services and charged me 95 for the "diagnose". Left in less than 30 minutes trying to sell me a project - I am waiting for the project manager visit for the multi thousand dollar quote. The same day at night we had zone control issues again, not cooling upstairs. I am purchasing the failing zone control and wires to DIY this thing myself - this is clearly an electrical issue with the zone controls. I feel I tossed $95 out of the window. Well. At least he was on time in the service window 8AM to 10PM (whole day window) and had availability the same day. I wonder why now that I see the rushed service quality.
