Blackburn Carter Heating & Air Conditioning

I called the company to inquiry about connecting a gas pool heater to my home gas meter and was informed that they would not do it. Didn’t get any explanations as to why until I started asking several follow up questions. One of the response was, “We’re too busy and that we’re only working on AC units at this time”. Wouldn’t help nor consider taking on new business/clients at the present time…..even if my AC unit broke.

I called last Wednesday to get a quote on a diagnostic fee and was told that they were not taking on any new customers and taking care of their loyal customers. I was very surprised at this response and even asked if this was good business policy as they can lose a lot of new business and again was reiterated that they are taking care of their loyal customers. Now I understand that it is hot outside and I am sure that they are busy. I have an empty condo with an AC that is not working and just wanted to see how much it was for them to come out there and check it out, I was not trying to schedule service. If they were that busy, they should have just simply said that they were too booked to take on new customer, I would totally understand that. But to be told that they are only focusing on their loyal customers is unprofessional and bad for business. As a result, I will never use their service and would not recommend anyone else too. They wouldn’t even get a star if I could prevent it.

Ive used Blackburn Carter for several years. They have always given excellent service!
