We set up an appointment through their website and a few days before the appointment they called to reschedule because they gave our appointment to an elderly couple. We have two babies and we’re using space heaters to heat our house. We accepted the new date and they called again to reschedule because a job was taking up two days unexpectedly and the next appointment wasn’t for another two weeks and we were gearing up for a snow storm. We told them we had two kids and needed the job done they said the soonest was November 18th. We turned around and called Sierra air who got use scheduled that same week and right before the snow storm. They completed the job fast and way cheaper than Hawthorne told us as estimate. Really unprofessional to reschedule multiple times on a client. Your booking issues are not the customers problem.
I called this company to come troubleshoot a leak at my water meter. The tech came out and did troubleshoot or that is what he said he did. He told me the leak was in my main water line and was 100% confident. He then proceeded to tell me I had to replace my entire main line because it was so hard to find parts. The quotes started at $7000 and up from there. Of course I got second opinions and found out it was the irrigation valve that was the problem. I would stay away from a company like this and if you do use them, get a second opinion if they tell you need major work. Thankfully, we did not use them.
The person who answered the phone was courteous and explained everything in a professional manner including the pricing. She sent a technician the same day and Daniel was also very courteous and professional plus being on time and knowledgeable. He helped me understand the problem and gave me a reasonable estimate and options to consider to fix the problem. He was thorough and took time to make sure he answered all my questions.
