Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Called them on a Sunday for a sewage backup issue in my basement, and two techs came out. They got there in a timely manner and were nice enough, but they didn’t do a great job of explaining what was wrong with my pipe and what was needed to fix it, so I was pretty confused much of the time. The real problem though was that I ended up paying $500 for nothing but to have them snake my line, and then I felt kind of railroaded into signing a contract for the repair, at a whopping $16,000. They neglected to tell me that they had also had me sign a waiver forfeiting my right to cancel said contract, thus eliminating my ability to shop around or get other estimates. After getting other estimates I learned that the price was on the high end but comparable, however I felt really uncomfortable with being pressured into a high stakes sale with no thorough explanation of what I was signing. We had an issue with one of our toilet leaking disposal through the pipe. Technician Danny, was professional and friendly in explaining the problem and what it would cost to fix it. He did a great job and finish it in an hour. Service: Plumbing pipe repair

It cost $415.00 dollars to auger the main drainpipe. before they started I showed the technician that the sump pump was clogged up and was pumping water into the basement. The washer was also draining into the basement. and it still is. After they left I plugged in the sump it was still plugged up. the sent another technician. He said it would cost $400.00 to unclog a 24" pipe that went into the main drain. I said it should have been addressed the first time. After all that has been done we still have the same condition.
