Solid Ground Construction

Hired Solid Ground Construction to do an addition to the back of my house 20' x 18'. John came out sat with us went over our options and he offered a few designs which we agreed upon. He mentioned upfront about any changes after we signed the contract could carry an addendum charge. Which really was not too bad and he absorbed a few as goodwill. This year has been an extremely difficult time in the construction business with skilled tradesman and skilled laborer's along with raising material cost but Solid Ground kept to his word and finished the project on time and we are very happy with the end results.

Owner is a con artist. Who uses the facade of religion to claim he is good person. But he doesn't pay his employees. He is the absolute worst to work for and commits all sort of labor law violations as well as environmental hazards with his improper led window removal.

We are very happy with our garage repair. It was extensive - a rebuild of the top half. They actually raised the entire roof by 8" to accommodate a standard size garage door and now the top of our van no longer brushes the door! The garage was older construction and the roof was failing. We had a band-aid repair a few years ago that was also failing. Solid Ground figured out how to get the most improvement while retaining as much as possible so it is functionally a new garage. They were transparent about plans and pricing, absorbed some costs when they found issues that weren't in the original estimate, and were clear and up-front about other changes they recommended and their prices, providing change orders for approval in advance. They noticed a couple problems, including with the new garage door, and took the initiative to keep coming back with new parts until they could get the problem fixed.
