Woke up this morning, no hot water. Checked the hot water tank- pilot wouldn’t stay lit. Considered trying to fix pilot myself, then realized the tank is 15 years old. Too old in my opinion. My buddy had a tank replaced by Formica, so I called them. Took a couple pictures of the bad tank and sent them. Minutes later had a quote. Talked to a couple different people through text and on the phone, everyone was very professional. Here’s the thing- did I get a great price? I have no idea, and don’t care, because I feel I got a fair price and didn’t have to call all over town looking for it. I also feel as though they did their best to get this going today, because it’s Friday and they didn’t want to push me to Saturday and have me pay a higher price. On top of that, I have a tank, installed, less than 8 hours after I discovered it was bad- and it would have been sooner had I been able to send the pictures earlier.
