Oregon Log Home Care is a top-flight company. It all starts with the owner, Mark Hoge. He is one of the finest people I have ever met. Observant, insightful, intelligent, and has a strong spiritual foundation. I own a log home on the Oregon Coast. Somehow, before I purchased it, the home inspector completely missed an entire side of my home that was full of rot. I contacted Mark to find out what needed to be done. He drove over from Eugene, and spent almost two hours looking over my entire house, outside and inside. He continually pointed out aspects that needed strict attention on a yearly basis, and repairs that needed immediate attention. Mark has a degree in Forestry. Listening to him was like having a private tutoring session in wood biology, weather, and how repairs are made. Several days later, he emailed me a proposal, and we made a contract for the repairs. I have used Mark and his guys for years, not only for my own home but for my rentals as well. He has taken care of the moss on my roof and cleared my gutters, and has given me a heads up on problems and solved them. I love that he uses eco-friendly solutions and takes a wide angle view on whatever situation with which I may be dealing. I am so happy I have him to rely upon; I don't even have to think about my roofs because he is overseeing my needs before I know I have them.

I have a heavy tile roof and Mark came by and assessed what needed to be done. Because of the ice storm and freezing temperatures the work wasn't completed until just this week. I have had many others do roof treatments and repairs in the past but I am thoroughly pleased with the work Mark and his team did. I will be using his company for yearly maintenance from now on.
