McCabe And Son Roofing

Three years ago, I wrote a review about how happy we were with a repair that they did for us. I said we would hire them to replace our roof when the time came. Well the time came and it was a bigger job than we expected. Scott came out and inspected our roof. He determined that our plywood decking on the roof was delaminating and need to be replaced. Understandable as we believe it was original to the house which was built in 1955. Scott did a great job explaining our options. His crew was great! They gave us a new roof - took it down to the rafters, new plywood decking, new shingles, new soffits and gutters. They were efficient, friendly, protected my landscaping, cleaned up all the debris and picked up nails with a huge magnet. We felt the pricing was fair and are thrilled with how our new roof looks. McCabe and Son were great to deal with and gave us a quality roof at a fair price. After an exhaustive search of roofing companies, we settled on McCabes' service. It was the right choice. We dealt with Scott. Scott was direct in terms of what his team would do and how he would handle the job, without the 3 hour seminar that some companies like to give and then be astronomically expensive after taking up your afternoon. Scott was honest about the job details and price and was responsive throughout the process concerning questions and timing issues. With a medium scale project to remove two layers of roof, including a cedar shake layer, the job took 2 days. Four months later, we have not had any issues and the roof looks great.

We had a number of roofers that gave us estimates on our home, which was a high pitch roof, with many little side roofs. As well, we had cedar shakes and two layers of shingles on top of that! Scott was able to convey what needed to be done, and the complications involved. He's very easy to work with, and just good people.The pricing was super competitive, and from a quality work perspective, it was fantastic.All of his employee's we met were professional and nice. As well, they did a tremendous job cleaning up two layers of shingles, and cedar shakes. Five years later the roof still looks great, and I will never use another roofer, as McCabe, is in my opinion, the best!
