I have used Benchmark for years. They service my generator every year and I have had no trouble from it at all. Recently I purchased new led lighting fixtures for my kitchen and laundry room. I called Benchmark to install them. They were able to set up an appointment within a week. Their guys arrived on time and got to work right away. They installed the fixtures quickly and perfectly. They even went an extra step to ensure my fixtures were secure. The guys were friendly and professional and it was a pleasure to have them in my home. They took all the old fixtures away including the old burned-out fluorescent bulbs. There was no debris or anything left when they were finished. Not even a speck of dust. I purchased a standby generator from Benchmark some years ago. I have never regretted the purchase. Service has always been very good.

The Benchmark tech showed up 20 minutes late (this was a 2:00 appointment, NOT a 2-3 hour window). He sat in his truck for 10-15 minutes after that, even after I waived him inside and said hello. He was not even aware of our main purpose for calling, which was to inspect the entire house electrical system, find the issues and give us an estimate on that as well as a backup generator. He said he was only aware of the generator estimate(?!) and said “you need a service call for that.” I said “THIS IS the service call for all of it and he argued that the svc call was only for the generator estimate. I said there was “no point in him being here at all then.” After the time spent on arranging all this, a very detailed email which their appointments lady received before calling me and she was looking at the entire request when failing to provide that info to the tech. On top of all this, the tech was still talking on his phone when he was supposed to be talking to me, while he wasted
