Dr Electric

I called them for a "free estimate" as advertised on their website. There was some miscommunication about when the worker could come take a look. Communication is a 2 way street so i can't put this issue on them. When the worker got to my house and gave a bid 3x higher then other bids i got that were really free, they decide to charge me $145 service fee because I allegedly said I want the work done the day the guy comes. Had the bid been competitive that would have been the case and I stated several times I need a bid only. Never giving them business again!!! The only reason they got $$ was because my parents were visiting while I was at work and they paid. Had I been home the worker would still be in front of my house because free means no money. These clowns need to learn that!! I'd never spend my hard earned money for services not provided!!

I have used the services of Dr. Electric twice, for light fixture and ceiling fan installations that were too high up for me to manage. Both times their final bill (maybe not the cheapest, but I thought very fair for licensed and insured electricians) matched the estimate, they were exactly on time, quick, clean, and courteous. I would recommend them and I will use their services again if I need electrical work done.

We had an ugly foyer light that needed replacing in a 2-story 19 foot ceiling. They brought in a 16 foot step ladder, got the light changed out, re-wired and attached large tear drop crystals, polished them. Super professional and fast.. they were in and out in an hour, and charged 1/3 of what others were quoting the job for. I'm super happy and telling all my neighbors that all have the exact same lights in their foyer!! Very HAPPY!!
