Fox Service Company

My first use of Fox Service Company experienced diverse levels of professionalism. The first technician Wayland came on 8/2/2023 with bill amount total $552 to include $49 checking fee and $503 repair cost. My tenant without knowing that the checking fee was already included in the total bill, paid him $555 in cash ( the technician said no change for $3) plus another $49 charged to credit card. I reported such overpayment $52 issue to the company immediately after the technician left. I was told that their accounting would work for refund but never happened. Worst of all, the repair based on wrong diagnosis didn't fix the problem but even worse with very weak airflow. I reported so they sent the second technician Darren on 8/8 who was very good to explain the problem in detail and strongly recommended that the whole old system should be replaced to prevent costly repairs in the future. They came early to get started before the heat of the day (good idea) and really worked hard to get it done as quickly as possible. Forest made sure to talk slowly (my husband has aphasia and a hearing issue) and did a great job explaining the system and the new thermostat. Very pleased! Also Matthew Moreno who came the day before to assess the system and make recommendations was great, really helpful, and worked to schedule it quickly before our disabled daughter came to visit today.
