Back in December before the cold weather hit, I purchased a York 5-ton 16 SEER YHM60 Heat Pump combined with their AE 60 air handler to replace a 16 year old 12 Seer A/C unit. The difference has been amazing. WIth the old system, there were rooms in my house that were too hot in the summer or too cold in the winter. Now, with the York system, all the rooms in my house are the same temperature! I was seriously considering installing a mini-split unit in our master as I was sick and tired of our room being 3-5 degrees difference from the rest of the house. Don't need it now! Our room and other rooms in the house are the same temperature. Yes, the heat pump puts out plenty of heat, but the air handler has made a huge difference as well. There is now a STRONG flow of air in our entire house, even rooms that are the farthest away from the air handler.
